In-office dispensing and medically integrated dispensing of rheumatic medications have emerged within the specialty of rheumatology and are now of particular interest as models to provide patients with easier access to conventional disease-modifying agents and biologics. This session aims to differentiate between in-office dispensing and medically integrated dispensing models, define each of these models, and examine the steps needed to implement within an independent rheumatology practice. This session also aims to explore logistics and barriers to include compliance issues. Finally, the goal is to understand how these models have been incorporated into a single specialty group practice.
