This presentation will focus on: basic concepts and terminology related LGBTQIA+ people; stigma, minority stress, and health disparities; and best practices for all staff supporting LGBTQIA+ communities. Topics covered will include mitigating implicit bias toward LGBTQIA+ people, as well as building an inclusive and affirming health care environment for LGBTQIA+ patients, staff, and trainees.
