Building capacity includes improving rheumatology education of medical professionals and use of technology to improve access to address the existing and growing inequalities in rheumatology care access. These efforts are especially critical for countries or regions where there is a shortage or a complete lack of rheumatology professionals. This session will feature three initiatives focused on training medical professionals in areas lacking rheumatology training programs and improving access to care in settings with limited access to rheumatology. These presentations will highlight different creative strategies to overcome existing obstacles and expand rheumatology training and patient care.
