Anti-neutrophil cytoplasmic antibody (ANCA)-associated vasculitides/vasculitis (AAV) represents a group of small vessel vasculitides characterized by granulomatous and neutrophilic tissue inflammation, often associated with the production of antibodies that target neutrophil antigens. The AAVs affect a range of internal organs including ear, nose and throat, respiratory tract, kidneys, skin, and nervous system. AAV is also associated with a high healthcare burden and a high risk of hospitalization. Outcomes data from recent Vindico Medical Education (Vindico) continuing education (CE) activities from the field of ANCA vasculitis (i.e eosinophilic granulomatosis with polyangiitis (EGPA)) reveal that clinicians lack knowledge of the core clinical features, pathogenesis, guideline recommendations, diagnostic criteria, and advances in therapy that are essential for optimal management of AAV. Thus, further education on these topics would be beneficial. Developed and offered by Vindico Medical Corporation, supported by Amgen
