Bella Elogoodin, MBA, is a strategic hospital service excellence leader, with over 20 years’ experience developing and delivering best practice patient, family and guest experience at world-renowned Hospital for Special Surgery (HSS), consistently nationally ranked #1 in Orthopedics by US News.
Serving in progressive HSS leadership positions, Ms. Elogoodin is currently Vice President for Service Excellence, Language Access systems/delivery and Volunteer services. She provides guidance on Service Excellence protocols across HSS enterprise, oversees multiple Surgical Center Waiting areas, all its functions, issues and complaints that come from real time surveys, Provision of Service Recovery, Patient Information/Welcome Centers, Visitor Management and functions related to support patient mobility, Patient Language Access Services including for Hearing & Visual Impaired patients.
Emigrating from Ukraine to USA with her family in 1992, Ms. Elogoodin quickly mastered English and information technology systems. In 1997, she graduated with honors from Baruch Bernard College, earning a Bachelor of Science degree in Finance/Investment and Business Administration. In 2011, while working full-time in a management position at HSS she earned an Executive MBA in Healthcare Management, also from Baruch Bernard College - Zicklin School of Business. She lives in central New Jersey with her husband and two sons.
