Robert Colbert, MD, PhD

Dr. Colbert is a Senior Investigator and Clinical Director for the NIAMS at the NIH in Bethesda, Maryland. He also serves as Chief of the Pediatric Translational Research Branch. Dr. Colbert's laboratory research focuses on understanding the role of risk genes in spondyloarthritis pathogenesis. As Clinical Director of NIAMS, he oversees the diverse clinical and translational research portfolio in rheumatology and dermatology, as well as training and clinical care provided by the NIAMS Intramural Research Program.
