Dr. Kimura is the Chief of the Pediatric Rheumatology Division at the Joseph M. Sanzari Children’s Hospital at Hackensack University Medical Center and Professor of Pediatrics at the Hackensack Meridian School of Medicine. Dr. Kimura is an accomplished clinical researcher and a leader of the Childhood Arthritis and Rheumatology Research Alliance (CARRA) since its inception. She was co-PI of the CARRA Registry and the PI for STOP-JIA and FROST, two CARRA Registry-wide multi-center studies testing the comparative effectiveness of CARRA consensus treatment plans (CTPs) for initial treatment of children and adolescents with polyarticular JIA and systemic JIA.
