Scott Lieberman is a pediatric rheumatologist at the University of Iowa. He is principle investigator of a research laboratory studying the mechanisms of immune dysregulation that lead to autoimmunity of lacrimal and salivary glands. He is also co-founder and co-leader of the International Childhood Sjögren's Workgroup, a collaborative group of rheumatologists, oral medicine and other healthcare professionals, the Sjogren's Foundation, and parents working to better understand Sjögren's in children.
