Yukinori Okada, MD, PhD, is a professor at Osaka University and the University of Tokyo, Japan. Yukinori’s research interests include statistical genetics and its application to human complex traits. Strong collaboration with cohorts with large genomics, he have identified lots of genetic loci associated with human complex traits including autoimmune diseases and quantitative traits. Further, he is developing a methodological framework to integrate human genetics with a variety of trans-layer omics data and drug databases, to elucidate biology of human diseases and evolution of human populations, and to develop genomics-based drug discovery.
