Dr. Kopplin is an Assistant Professor at the University of Wisconsin-Madison Department of Ophthalmology and Visual Sciences and serves as the director of their Uveitis service. She completed her medical degree and doctorate in Genetics at Case Western Reserve University followed by ophthalmology residency at the Casey Eye Institute. Dr. Kopplin then completed uveitis fellowship training at the Casey Eye Institute and the Devers Eye Institute. Her research interests include the epidemiology and therapeutic treatments of inflammatory eye diseases. She is board certified in ophthalmology and a member of the American Uveitis Society. She also cohosts Headlight in the Fog, a podcast on inflammatory eye diseases.
