Mukesh Ahuja, MBBS, MS is a highly qualified, medical executive with twenty years of global experience as a clinical expert in Orthopedics, leading dozens of orthopedic clinical studies and partnering with physicians and surgeons to advance novel research approaches. Dr. Ahuja has practical knowledge of experimental and clinical research needs to support the development, commercialization and marketing of medical products and technologies. He has a long history of collaboration with clinicians, scientists, engineers, sales, and marketing executives to identify new markets, and areas of growth and sustainability.
Currently, Dr. Ahuja works at Paradigm Biopharmaceuticals, Inc. as Global Clinical Head of Osteoarthritis, where he is appointed to lead the global clinical development program for injectable Pentosan Polysulfate Sodium (iPPS) for patients with Osteoarthritis (OA).
Prior to Paradigm Biopharmaceuticals, Dr. Ahuja served in different roles at major biotech companies and academic institutions including, Vice President of Clinical & Medical Affairs with OrthoRTI, Inc.; Director of Medical & Clinical Affairs for Medacta USA, Inc.; Sr. Program Manager, Motion Preservation, Orthofix Medical, Inc., and Research Administrator for the world-renowned Department of Orthopedic Surgery at Rush University Medical Center.
Mukesh is a member of several reputable medical and clinical research societies and has presented and published articles at numerous congresses and journals.
