Juliet Aizer has dedicated her career to supporting learning and professional advancement across the spectrum of medical education including undergraduate, graduate, and continuing medical education. She has established a formal foundation in education through the Adult Learning and Leadership (EdD) Program at Columbia University Teachers College, where she is a doctoral candidate. Her diverse experiences over the past two decades have provided the breadth of practical experience to shape her treasured role as a career medical educator. She has been honored with multiple meaningful awards for her impact as a teacher and leader, exemplified both in one-on-one interactions and through development of curricula including tools for learning that have been endorsed by the American College of Rheumatology and broadly disseminated. She has been a member of the American College of Rheumatology Committee on Education, Chair of the Subcommittee on Continuous Professional Development, and Chair of the CARE Development team. She is currently the Program Director for the Rheumatology Fellowship at Hospital for Special Surgery.
