Dr. Choi is a Professor of Medicine at Harvard Medical School and the Director of the Gout and Crystal Arthropathy Center at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH). He also serves as the co-director of the Gout, Hyperuricemia and Crystal-Associated Disease Network (G-CAN). Dr. Choi received his rheumatology training at MGH and Harvard Medical School, and his doctorate degree from Harvard University. He has been a leading clinician-scientist with a primary focus on crystal arthropathy and comorbidities, continually funded by NIH, with over 400 peer-reviewed original publications.
