Mitra Maz, BA (she/her/hers)

Mitra P. Maz is a 7th year MD/PhD student in Michelle Kahlenberg's lab at the University of Michigan Medical School. In the Kahlenberg lab, Mitra has been working to characterize the early innate immune infiltrate in UV-exposed lupus-prone skin. She will defend her thesis in the spring of 2024 and will graduate from the MD/PhD program in 2025 with plans to complete her clinical training in internal medicine and rheumatology.
