I am a Marie Curie Early Stage Researcher at the University of Glasgow. My research focuses on osteoclasts which play a key role in the pathology of bone remodelling, bone degradation, and joint/cartilage destruction in rheumatoid arthritis. I study the effect of specialised pro-resolving mediators on osteoclasts which are believed to be able to resolve inflammation, prevent bone resorption, or repair bone.
I obtained my Master's degree from Aalborg University in Denmark where I studied Medical Biotechnology while my Bachelor's degree from Slovak University of Technology was in Medicinal Chemistry.
