Leticia Ocaña, MPH, CHES® serves as Manager of Health Education and Hispanic Outreach at the Lupus Foundation of America. Leticia is a bilingual, bicultural Health Education Specialists supervising a small team that responds to national and international inquiries in English and Spanish. Furthermore, she holds a Spanish-English Translation Certificate Program from the University of Arizona and plays a crucial role in the development and implementation of educational, marketing and media efforts aimed at the Spanish-speaking members of the lupus community.
Leticia holds a Master’s Degree in Public Health and is a Certified Health Education Specialist (CHES).
Before joining the LFA, Leticia worked in health education and prevention programs in the areas of skin and breast cancer prevention, tuberculosis, and diabetes self-management.
