Wenyan Miao is VP of Immunology at Rome Therapeutics located in Cambridge Massachusetts. Previously Wenyan led drug discovery for autoimmune diseases and immuno-oncology at Celsius Therapeutics as vice president of immunology and inflammation. Prior to that, she served as executive director of immunology at Nimbus Therapeutics. She was the coleader of the Nimbus Tyk2 program which is heading for phase II clinical trials. Wenyan also played a major role on the team that led the IND filing and successful Phase I trial of the Nimbus ACC program. Wenyan has considerable expertise across R&D, from target discovery to early clinical proof-of-mechanism studies. Among her previous positions: posts at Repligen, Pfizer, Wyeth, AbbVie and Millennium Pharmaceuticals. Wenyan has a B.S. in biochemistry from Fudan University in Shanghai and a Ph.D. in biochemistry and molecular biology from Indiana University School of Medicine.
