Julie Sarrand, MD (she/her/hers)

Julie Sarrand obtained her medical degree at the Université Libre de Bruxelles (ULB) in 2016 with the Highest Dinstinction. She then continued her training in internal medicine and rheumatology at ULB and obtained her diploma of specialized studies in rheumatology in June 2023 with the Highest Distinction and with congratulations of the jury. Julie Sarrand started her PhD in October 2021 in the Laboratory of Stem Cells and Cancer of Prof Cedric Blanpain. She's interested in the characterization of gene regulatory networks controlling Epithelial-to-mesenchymal transition using CRISPR-Cas9 technology.
