Ms. Noriko Okochi has been a clinical psychologist with over 20 years of experience in psychological assessment and psychotherapy in the psychiatric and educational fields. She received her doctorate in psychology at Tokyo Seitoku University in 2019 and has been conducting research on psychological support for people with genetic disorders at the University of Tokyo.
She has managed support groups for people with rheumatic diseases based on her experience as a patient with polyarteritis nodosa, and received an incentive award from The Association of Japanese Clinical psychology in 2020 for her practical research.
