Dr. Tomás Cerdó completed his PhD thesis within the Department of Pediatrics of the UGR and was a member of the Federico Óloriz Institute (2014-2019). In 2014 he was awarded a MINECO pre-doctoral mobility grant with which he spent 4 months at the Proteomics department of the Helmholtz Center for Environmental Research (Leipzig). He has a master's degree in Translational Biomedicine (UCO), in Compulsory Secondary Education and Baccalaureate Teachers, Vocational Training and Language Teaching (UGR) and in Bioinformatics and Biostatistics (UOC) and has received various scientific improvement courses. As a teacher, he has tutored several FP, TFM and TFG projects, has participated as an evaluator in several editions of the final exam (ECOE) for the Medicine degree, has been a member of the Nutrenvigen Master's panel and the Medicine degree (UGR) and has taught practical and theoretical teaching in the degrees of Nutrition and Dietetics, Medicine and Occupational Therapy, within the Department of Pediatrics of the UGR. To date, his scientific production consists of 23 publications in journals with a high impact index (signing 17 in first author position, 2 in last position and 4 in other positions), 1 publication in a non-indexed journal, 3 chapters of international and 2 national books and a monograph. He is currently doing a postdoctoral stay at University College London under the M-AES grant from the ISCIII.
