I am a specialist in Rheumatology and a PhD student at the Rheumatology Department of the University of Palermo. My work has mainly focused on the immunopathogenesis of inflammatory joint diseases and Sjögren’s syndrome. During my training I had the opportunity to attend the partner fellowship program, at Katholieke Universiteit Leuven, aimed at basic science and translational research in spondyloarthritis. I currently participate in national and international research projects and attend the outpatient clinic of my hospital.
