Ryan Mitacek is a pediatric rheumatology fellow at the University of Chicago, Comer Children's Hospital. After graduating medical school at Trinity School of Medicine, he completed his general pediatrics residency at CAMC Women and Children's Hospital in Charleston, West Virginia. His fellow research project is studying the relationship between interstitial inflammation and outcomes in pediatric lupus nephritis. When he is not convincing residents to apply for pediatric rheumatology, he can be found walking with his wife Qiong, their son, and their dog.
