Hi, my name is Matthew Sholdice. I currently doing an undergraduate degree in Health Sciences at McMaster University. I have been a part of the rheumatic community all my life as I was diagnosed with JIA when I was 3 years old. Throughout my life, I have been involved in several initiatives within the rheumatic community, including a Cassie and Friends Youth Leader, Outreach Coordinator for the Take a Pain Check Foundation, panelist for many events and conferences, and camp counselor for the Arthritis Society. Over the last two years, I have been a research assistant for the rheumatology team at the McMaster Children's Hospital under Dr. Michelle Batthish, and Dr. Karen Beattie.
