Marykate Nelson received her PhD in Molecular Pharmacology and Structural Biology from Thomas Jefferson University in 2008. She immediately started her career in Continuing Education (CE) after graduating. Dr. Nelson currently serves as a Director of Scientific Affairs at PRIME Education, where she has been working since June of 2019. In this role she oversees educational grant and content development in inflammatory diseases. She has collaborated with key opinion leaders and organizations for numerous educational activities in rheumatology, and is passionate about improving the care of patients with these diseases.
