Climate change represents an existential health challenge to our planet and its inhabitants. Extreme weather events, air pollution, and other environmental exposures impact the health of all patients, including those with rheumatic disease. This session will describe our current state of understanding regarding the impact of climate change on rheumatology patients and provide practical steps that rheumatologists can take to mitigate this impact.
