Dr. Sheetal Vora is an established physician with 4 years of
experience as a practicing general pediatrician and 15 years practicing as a pediatric rheumatologist where she currently serves the children and families in Charlotte and surrounding communities. She is on staff as a Clinical Professor of Pediatrics at Atrium Health Levine Children’s Hospital and also serves as the Director of Quality Improvement for the Levine Children’s Specialty Center.
She is an active member of Pediatric Rheumatology Care and Outcomes Improvement Network, a quality improvement collaborative of 24 pediatric rheumatology centers in the US and Canada, where she sits on the executive and steering committee and heads the Scientific Development and Oversight Committee.
Her research interests are improving access to pediatric rheumatology, understanding barriers to timely referral and implementing mental health screening tools in children with rheumatic disease.
She has presented her work at the Children’s Hospital Association Leadership National Conference and the Institute for Healthcare Improvement.
She has received recognition by her peers as a Top Doctor in Charlotte, North Carolina.
Dr. Vora is active in the community and served as Medical Director for the North Carolina Lupus Foundation chapter.
She is excited to co-produce care with all members of her community, but most importantly with the patients and their families to live healthier and happier lives.
