Dr Karina Torralba is Professor of Medicine for the Division of Rheumatology at Loma Linda University School of Medicine. She is the Chair of the Musculoskeletal Ultrasound Planning Group, and a Member of the ACR Committee on Corporate Relations (2021-2023). She was a member of the ACR Strategic Planning Cmte, ACR Global Strategy Task Force, Cmte on Training and Workforce, the Clinician-Scholars Educator Group, and the Item Development group of the RhMSUS Exam Committee. She is the outgoing Board President of the Ultrasound School of North American Rheumatologists and Treasurer of the Southern California Rheumatology Society. She is active with the OMERACT Ultrasound Group, and does research in ultrasound, medical education and lupus.
