Dr. Christian Torres (he/him) is a Clinical Assistant Professor of Medicine. Dr. Torres serves as the Faculty Director of Diversity Training and Housestaff Mentoring in the NYU Grossman Office of Diversity Affairs, as well as Director of the Department of Internal Medicine Organization for Nurturing Diversity (DIMOND). In these roles, he oversees the development of institution-wide programs addressing bias and discrimination in medicine, as well as recruitment, retention, and support of diverse residents and fellows. Clinically, Dr. Torres is a general internist, practicing both primary care and hospital medicine at Bellevue, where he also serves as Director of Clinical Informatics for General Internal Medicine.
