Dr. Adam Kilian MD is the Director of the Rheumatology Fellowship Program at the Saint Louis University School of Medicine in St. Louis, MO. Dr. Kilian is passionate about exceptional clinical care, research, and teaching. He completed his Rheumatology Fellowship at the University of Michigan. During his fellowship, he also completed the University of Michigan’s Medical Education Scholars Program, an internationally acclaimed yearlong program to study and apply principles of educational leadership, teaching, and scholarship. Dr. Kilian is a member of the ACR's Committee on Training and Workforce Issues and e-Learning Subcommittee. He has published peer-reviewed articles on topics including health systems innovation, workforce trends in rheumatology, and medical education. His specific areas of clinical interest include lupus, vasculitis, systemic fibrosing conditions, familial autoinflammatory syndromes, IgG4-related disease, and autoimmune disease in pregnancy.
