Russell F. Ross is the Sofusa Chief Technical Officer and leads device design, manufacturing, preclinical research, and product and clinical development of novel lymphatic directed therapies for rheumatoid arthritis and oncology, including melanoma and non-Hodgkin’s lymphoma. Dr. Ross is also the inventor of the Sofusa lymphatic delivery platform redefining therapies for immune system diseases by treating targets in the lymph nodes versus more traditional systemic approaches. He is also a Fellow in the American College of Rheumatology. Prior, Dr. Ross spent 22 years at Kimberly-Clark in several research and leadership positions in both the consumer and professional businesses where he developed and commercialized over 10 new products and improved manufacturing technologies and helped design and start-up several large-scale manufacturing assets for commercial production. He received his doctorate in Chemical Engineering from the University of Wisconsin and has been awarded 114 US Patents and more than 300 World-Wide Patents and published 12 peer reviewed papers.
