Meridith Balbach, MD (she/her/hers)

Meridith is a proud native of Southern Indiana and alumnus of Notre Dame (Go Irish!). As a medical student, she developed a passion for rheumatology, joining the leadership team for RheumMadness and exploring clinical research in musculoskeletal ultrasound. She is additionally interested in innovative approaches to medical education. As a PGY-1 medicine resident, she is looking forward to honing her clinical skills and placing many (appropriate) rheumatology consults. Outside of the hospital, she enjoys playing tennis, reading, and spending time outdoors with family and friends.
