I completed my PhD at Western University, London, Ontario, Canada in 2009 investigating molecular mechanisms regulating cartilage extracellular matrix gene expression. I next pursued post-doctoral research at the Hospital for Sick Children (Toronto, ON, Canada) investigating links between articular joint development and mechanisms regulating osteoarthritis progression, focusing on hedgehog and Wnt signalling pathways. I am currently a Scientific Associate at the Schroeder Arthritis Institute, University Health Network, Toronto, ON, Canada. My research interests include uncovering novel mechanisms, biomarkers and therapeutics of osteoarthritis using animal models, human tissues and fluids, and omic technologies.
