Dr Gurdeep Dulay is a dual-trained consultant in Rheumatology and General (internal) Medicine. He completed his undergraduate training from the University of Southampton 2006. He went on to complete his higher training within the Wessex region before being appointed locally to a consultant role at Portsmouth Hospitals University NHS Trust in 2017.
Dr Dulay has previously held regional roles for both the British Society for Rheumatology and the Royal College of Physicians (London). Having previously completed an early-career role with MRCP PACES examination scenario writing, more latterly, he has been successfully appointed to a national education board role with the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons (Glasgow). He was pivotally involved in production of nationally approved, RCP-endorsed, interim clinical guidelines for the use of immunomodulatory treatment for COVID-19. Dr Dulay maintains a broad range of clinical and research interests including early inflammatory arthritis, axial spondyloarthritis, ultrasound and medical education.
