Gabrielle Rabadam is a PhD Candidate in UC Berkeley's and UCSF's Joint Bioengineering PhD program with expertise in computational biology, functional genomics, and systems immunology. Advised by Prof. Zev Gartner at UCSF, her dissertation work focuses on applying network theory approaches to single-cell multiomics data to understand how cells coordinate their behavior in healthy and diseased contexts, using the immune system as a model system. She collaborates with Prof. Jessica Neely at UCSF Benioff Children's Hospital to apply functional genomics approaches to understand immune dysregulation in a rare autoimmune disease, Juvenile Dermatomyositis (JDM).
