Currently, Claus-Juergen Bauer is undergoing rheumatological residency training in the Department of Rheumatology and Clinical Immunology at University Hospital Bonn. Beyond that, he significantly represents the university's rheumatological research with two junior research group leaderships, a variety of ongoing research projects and 25 submitted congress abstracts this year.
He is a member of multiple professional associations, such as the German Society of Rheumatology (DGRh), the German Society for Ultrasound in Medicine (DEGUM) and the Group for Research and Assessment of Psoriasis and Psoriatic Arthritis (GRAPPA). Furthermore, he is DEGUM-certified in ultrasound of the musculoskeletal system and a sought-after guest speaker at numerous educational events and congresses.
