This session will review concepts of palliative care that are highly relevant for rheumatology and provide practical skills to facilitate the integration of this approach into rheumatologic practice. In addition to an introduction and framework to effective palliative care practices in general, this session will also focus specifically on palliative care application to pulmonary and neuromuscular disease
