DR. ZAHI TOUMA, MD, PhD, is an Associate Professor of Medicine with the University of Toronto, Clinician-Scientist and Staff Rheumatologist with the University Health Network/Mount Sinai Hospital and Adjunct Scientist with the Institute for Work and Health. He holds cross-appointments with the Institute of Health Policy Management and Evaluation (IHPME) and Institute of Medical Sciences (IMS) graduate programs. He is also a Scientist at the Schroeder Arthritis Institute, Krembil Research Institute.
His research is focused on patients with systemic lupus erythematosus (SLE) and measurement science with a particular interest in the assessment of disease activity, patient-reported outcomes and cognitive function.
