Xavier Sendaydiego is a PGY-2 in the Internal Medicine Residency Program at the University of Washington. Originally from South San Francisco, he went to medical school in Milwaukee at the Medical College of Wisconsin, where he performed cardiac bench research, led a hepatitis B screening and education research project in underserved Hmong communities, and served as co-president of the local Asian Pacific American Medical Student Association (APAMSA) chapter. He is currently engaged in rheumatoid arthritis outcomes research with his mentor Dr. Namrata Singh, as well as cardiac imaging research. He is currently considering a career in Rheumatology, Cardiology, or Hospital Medicine. On his days off, he likes to Facetime his partner and family, cook, try new food places, rock climb, do photography, and watch movies.
