Benjamin Fisher is Professor of Rheumatology at the University of Birmingham, UK. His current interests include clinical trials and outcome measures in Sjogren’s and other inflammatory diseases. Current work includes cross-disease basket trials with novel tissue-based outcomes, and he was co-Chief Investigator for a phase 2 platform trial in COVID-19 (CATALYST). He heads a multidisciplinary Sjogren’s clinic and is chief investigator for the Optimising Assessments in Sjögren’s Syndrome (OASIS) cohort. He is a deputy clinical director at the Cancer Research UK Clinical Trials Unit Birmingham, leading the Inflammation and Advanced and Cellular Therapies (I-ACT) team.
