During my residency, I made the decision that, upon becoming a specialist, I would like to sub-specialize in rare diseases, particularly in muscular and metabolic disorders. For this reason, I applied for the end-of-residency award with the intention of continuing my research and starting my doctorate at the University of Barcelona. Furthermore, I decided to supplement my education by pursuing a diploma in muscular pathology in Paris, called the "DIU de Myologie," at Pitié-Salpêtrière Hospital and Pierre et Marie Curie University. During that year, I also obtained another diploma in "Medical Genetics" from the University of Valencia.
