Kamini Kuchinad graduated Phi Beta Kappa from Occidental College where she majored in Chemistry and Spanish Literature. She received her MD from Johns Hopkins School of Medicine during which time she also completed a Masters in Public Health from the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health with a focus in biostatistics and epidemiology. She then completed internal medicine residency at Johns Hopkins Bayview, where she was a member of the inaugural medical education track. She is currently a third year Rheumatology fellow at Johns Hopkins on the T32 research track. She is also a member of the American College of Rheumatology Quality of Care committee. Kamini’s research interests include identifying etiologies of health inequity in systemic sclerosis care with particular interest in communication and medical decision making.
